Self-service support

The shortest route to an answer.

ScopeRate is designed to be understandable without onboarding calls, account recovery, or a cloud dashboard. Start with the answers below.

How do I restore Pro?

Open ScopeRate Settings, choose ScopeRate Pro, then select Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID or Google Play account used for the original purchase.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Manage or cancel ScopeRate Pro in your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I delete my data?

Open Settings in ScopeRate and choose Delete all local data for jobs and settings on that device. For the separate pseudonymous RevenueCat purchase record, choose Request purchase-data deletion; the email draft includes the support ID needed to locate it. Apple or Google may retain store transactions under their own policies, and device or operating-system backups may still apply.

How do I move or back up jobs?

Backup and restore are free. Open Settings to export a human-readable JSON backup, or choose Restore from backup to replace the current workspace with a backup you select.

Do I have to watch ads?

No. The calculator and normal free features never require an ad. Free users can explicitly choose a rewarded ad for one additional save, one PDF export, or outcome analysis for one job. Pro is entirely ad-free.

What does the iPhone tracking permission change?

It appears only when you first choose an optional rewarded ad. Allowing lets Google Mobile Ads use the device advertising identifier for purposes such as limiting repeated ads and measuring ad performance. Ask App Not to Track keeps the calculator, saved jobs, and normal features available; the optional ad may be limited or unavailable. ScopeRate still requests non-personalized ads either way.

Why doesn’t ScopeRate know my local market rate?

ScopeRate deliberately avoids inventing a local price. Enter your real cost and target margin, then use your experience and market knowledge to choose the final quote.

A result looks wrong—what should I check?

Review labor hours and hourly cost, confirm overhead and contingency, and make sure you entered margin rather than markup. Always verify the final quote before sending it.
