Your job data belongs on your device.

Your local workspace stays on your device. Subscription and optional ad services handle the separate data described below.

Your job workspace

These expanded workspace features describe the current Android app; available features may differ by app version and platform.

ScopeRate helps you estimate and keep records for projects and recurring work. Its local workspace does not require a ScopeRate account. Job and customer records are stored on your device; ScopeRate does not automatically upload them to the publisher or a connected ScopeRate cloud service.

The records you choose to enter can include business contact details and document terms; customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, property addresses and notes; job names, trades, scope, item quantities and costs, pricing assumptions, quotes and actual costs; tasks, visits, recurring maintenance and crew labels; job photos, captions and progress updates; your own materials/product catalogs, stock movements, suppliers, orders and deliveries; invoices, credit notes, and manually entered payment, refund and correction records. The app also stores preferences, unfinished drafts and access/credit state needed for its features. These records are used to calculate, organize and display your work and prepare the documents you request.

Crew labels are entries you manage, not online crew accounts. Customer payment records are bookkeeping entries you enter, not evidence that ScopeRate charged a card or processed a payment. The app does not scan your device's address book to fill the customer list.

Job photos and permissions

You choose whether to attach a photo. Taking a new photo requests camera access; choosing an existing photo opens the system picker for the item you select. The app does not need microphone access to create a job photo. You can keep using the other local tools without granting camera access.

Newly chosen photos are decoded, resized and saved as new JPEG copies in the local app workspace. This processing does not copy the source EXIF/GPS metadata into the new JPEG. It does not remove visible addresses, people or other identifying content from the picture, and it does not delete your original camera/library image. Restoring a backup uses the photo data contained in that backup. Review images and captions before sharing them.

Job updates are private by default. A client photo report includes only updates you explicitly select as client-visible. Photo processing is local; this version does not send photos to an AI service, infer site measurements from a photo, or upload a photo library automatically.

Documents, drafts, calendars and backups you choose to export

You can prepare client estimates, photo reports, invoices and credit notes, and review them before using a share or download action. The app prepares customer message drafts for your review; email, SMS or share actions open a destination you choose. It does not automatically send those messages or confirm delivery, customer approval or payment.

Calendar export creates a file for the visits you select. Optional address and crew details are included only when selected. You choose whether to import the file into your calendar; the app does not silently invite customers, synchronize a calendar or activate calendar reminders for you.

A full workspace backup includes private records and stored job photos, not just the content selected for a client report. Backup JSON is not password protected or encrypted by ScopeRate. Keep backup files in a location you control and review what is in them before sharing. Client files, copied drafts, calendar imports and backups may contain personal or business information. Once you give a file or draft to another app, recipient or storage service, that destination's privacy practices apply. Deleting the local workspace does not remove those exported copies.

Subscriptions and service providers

Native subscription features use Google Play and RevenueCat to retrieve available purchases, check and restore Pro access, and maintain purchase history. They process transaction and entitlement information, identifiers and technical app/device information needed for those services. RevenueCat processes subscription data on the publisher's behalf. ScopeRate does not pass your local customer contact details, job scope, costs, message drafts or job photos to RevenueCat. The app's subscription service is separate from customer payments recorded against a job.

When the native subscription service is configured, ScopeRate can check Pro access when the app starts or becomes active, even if you do not buy a subscription. RevenueCat uses a persistent pseudonymous subscription identifier for these checks; it is separate from the customer names and business records you enter in the local workspace. Purchase or Restore can add store purchase and entitlement information. ScopeRate does not pass your local job costs, customer contact details, private photos or manually entered customer-payment records to this subscription service.

On iPhone and iPad, Apple processes in-app purchases. Apple and RevenueCat handle store transaction and access information under their own policies. ScopeRate does not receive full payment-card numbers. See the Apple privacy policy.

RevenueCat's provider privacy information is available at RevenueCat privacy information . Google's privacy information is at Google privacy information . Contact ScopeRate support about your ScopeRate purchase-data record; store transaction handling and provider processing are separate from your local job records.

Optional rewarded ads

If you choose an ad-supported action on a supported native device, ScopeRate checks the applicable consent flow before requesting a rewarded ad through Google AdMob. The current app requests non-personalized ads. That choice does not mean the ad service receives no data: Google Mobile Ads can process an IP address, app/ad interactions, diagnostics and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention, subject to the actual SDK version, settings and consent. ScopeRate does not supply your local customer/job/photo records as ad targeting content.

You can use the local calculator without choosing a rewarded-ad action. Pro access does not use rewarded ads. Ad privacy options are available in Settings when the native consent service makes them available. Device privacy controls and Google's policies also apply. ScopeRate does not add a separate publisher analytics or crash-reporting service for the local job workspace in this version.

On iPhone and iPad, Google Mobile Ads SDK 13.5.0's retained privacy manifest declares Device ID as linked to the user and used for tracking. When a user first chooses an optional rewarded ad, Google's consent platform may explain this use and iOS may ask whether to allow tracking across other companies' apps and websites. Allowing permits Google Mobile Ads to access the device advertising identifier for uses such as limiting repeated ads and measuring ad performance. Choosing Ask App Not to Track leaves the calculator, saved jobs, and other normal features available; the optional ad may instead be limited or unavailable. ScopeRate still requests non-personalized ads either way.

Consent choices can be revisited from ScopeRate Settings when Google makes that option available. iOS tracking permission can also be changed in the device's Privacy & Security settings.

Keeping and deleting records

Local records remain until you delete them, reset the workspace, remove app storage or uninstall the app. Settings includes a manual full-backup export and a Delete all local data action. Photo and record deletion is subject to successful device storage cleanup; if the app reports a cleanup failure, follow that message before treating cleanup as complete. This Android version is configured to opt out of automatic app-data backup. Copies you explicitly export may be backed up by the destination you choose. ScopeRate does not claim that local storage or exported files are end-to-end encrypted.

Deleting local data does not cancel a Google Play subscription or erase provider transaction records. Manage or cancel a subscription through Google Play. Settings also offers Request purchase-data deletion, which opens an email request to hello@mewrcreate.com with the purchase support identifier when available. Opening that request does not itself complete deletion. Support can review the RevenueCat record, while Google and other providers may retain transaction data under their own policies. Do not send card or bank details in a support request.

Support and changes

If you email support, the publisher receives the information you choose to put in that message and uses it to handle your request. Do not attach private job records, customer information or a full backup unless you intend to share them for that purpose.

ScopeRate is intended for adults in small trade businesses managing projects and recurring work. Questions about this policy or purchase-data deletion can be sent to hello@mewrcreate.com. If the app's data handling changes, the publisher will update this policy and its effective date.
